Merin named "Va Ma Atlas", owned and trained by Rita Delon, with the support of Victor Zhii Ar Yurita, became the winner of the Stalions Cup for distance racing at 1200 meters for Arabian stallions. The race took place at the Lone Star Park racetrack in America last Thursday. The prize fund of the race amounted to 6500 dollars, sponsored by the tournament of the Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan festival.
Throughout the race "Va Ma Atlas" and his opponents were in a tight battle for leadership, which concluded with his triumph over the second-place vice-champion "Abtaun Hastamana" under the management of Adrian Morales. In third place finished "Abtaun Top ze Sassi" under the direction of Agrilio Gallegos, both stallions belonging to John and Krist Heininggaard when retiring from Carlos Badilia. The winner covered the distance in 1 minute 22.98 seconds.
