American actor Noah Wyle ('The Pitt') snatched the Golden Globe for best actor in a drama series from Mexican Diego Luna on Sunday for his portrayal of Cassian Andor in the Disney series 'Andor'.

Wyle beat out Mark Ruffalo ('Task'), Sterling Brown ('Paradise'), Gary Oldman ('Slow Horses'), and Adam Scott ('Severance') in this category.

The American actor plays Dr. Michael 'Robby' Robinavitch in the HBO Max medical drama, set in a fictional Pittsburgh hospital where, in addition to treating all kinds of cases, residents and students are trained.

This is the first Golden Globe the 'The Pitt' star has won in his entire career after being nominated three times for 'ER' in 1997, 1998, and 1999.
