WhatsApp Developing Message Scheduling Feature for iOS

The messaging app WhatsApp is developing a new feature that will allow iOS users to schedule messages within chats. This step aims to expand communication management tools on the platform. The new feature will allow users to write a message and set a scheduled time for its sending, which will be automatically sent at the chosen date and time, according to the specialized site WABetaInfo, which tracks app updates. WhatsApp will dedicate a separate section within the chat info screen to display scheduled messages, allowing users to manage or delete them before sending without any notification appearing to the other party. The feature is expected to work in both individual and group chats, giving users the ability to use it for reminders, congratulations, important updates, or for managing announcements within groups. Currently, iPhone users rely on the Shortcuts app to schedule messages through automated processes, but this solution remains less seamless compared to a built-in feature in the app. The feature is still under development and will be released in future updates without an official launch date set.
