In the other three cases, a police press release stated that 'the individual did not obtain any money and fled on foot in an unknown direction.' Later, the police identified the suspect as Gustavo de Jesus Torres, 33, and released several surveillance camera photos of him. He is a bald man with a beard and no mustache. The New York Times reported that Torres was arrested on charges of stealing $600, as confirmed by the police. The police stated that he was wearing a mask during at least one of the robberies and attempts.
