US Threatens New Wave of Attacks Against Iran

The United States has stated that its military operation against Iran will continue for several more weeks to completely destroy its missile program, navy, and nuclear capabilities. Authorities have also warned that the "great wave" of attacks has not yet begun and could arrive "very soon." "I know that many leaders in the past preferred to dismiss options without fully understanding how things could evolve," a spokesperson stated. On Monday, U.S. Secretary of War Pete Hegseth denied that the United States currently has troops on the ground in Iran but did not rule out a future deployment in the country to conclude the operation against the Islamic Republic. At a press conference at the Pentagon on Wednesday, Hegseth indicated a longer timeframe for the conflict than previously proposed by the Trump administration, saying the campaign could last up to eight weeks. Meanwhile, Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated on Tuesday that a "change in the scope and intensity of these attacks" will soon be perceived as the "dismantling of Iran's nuclear capability" progresses. Democratic senators have warned of this possibility and denounced the administration for not briefing Congress on its exact plans. U.S. President Donald Trump has promised that the U.S. offensive will continue until Iran is completely deprived of its capabilities.
