The creator of 'The Boys', Eric Kripke, confirmed that the final season will not feature large battle scenes in the style of 'Game of Thrones' due to budget limitations, despite the show being one of the most popular on Prime Video. The showrunner explained that the fifth season will focus on a different visual narrative style. Instead of massive battles, the series will concentrate on more personal clashes between key characters. 'It's Homelander's world, and unfortunately, we all live in it,' Kripke explained. In this part, the character played by Antony Star has full control, while the resistance tries to reorganize. Closing the story was planned by Kripke before the premiere of the fourth season. The fifth and final season of 'The Boys' will premiere on April 8 on Prime Video, with the initial release of two episodes. Meanwhile, Billy Butcher reappears with a radical plan: to use a virus capable of eliminating all superheroes. Although the main series is ending, the 'Boys' universe continues to expand with spin-offs like the animated 'Diabolical' and the upcoming 'Gen V' and 'Vought Rising'.
