Buenos Aires, March 11 (NA) – An Argentine national team delegation conducted an inspection visit to the U.S. city of Kansas to evaluate the training center, accommodation, and stadium where the team led by Lionel Scaloni will debut in the upcoming World Cup. The tour, as learned by the Argentine News Agency, included the venue assigned by FIFA, the location that will serve as the delegation's operational base, and the GEHA Field at Arrowhead, the stage for the first match against Algeria on June 16. The agenda was developed in three stages. First, representatives of the AFA supervised the training center of Sporting Kansas City, chosen by FIFA for the team's practices for much of the tournament. There, they analyzed the condition of the pitches, locker rooms, and complementary spaces to ensure optimal working conditions. Next, they reviewed the facilities planned for the lodging of the squad and technical staff throughout the competition, to check logistical and operational aspects. Services such as security, food, transportation, and recovery areas were evaluated to ensure the team's comfort and performance. Lastly, the delegation toured the GEHA Field at Arrowhead, the stadium of the Kansas City Chiefs, where the Argentine team will play its opening match in the competition. The stadium's capacity, facilities for the technical staff, and compliance with FIFA requirements were verified. The delegation was composed of administrative staff Daniel Cabrera and Alberto Pernas, the national team doctors Daniel Martínez and Alejandro Rolón, the head of security Matías Ferreyra, the communications manager Nicolás Novello, the professional team's kit man Mario De Stefano, and members of the AFA's design area Daniel Cannizzo and Agustín Spotorno.
