Washington - (AFP) - The new editor-in-chief of the American CBS network has blocked the broadcast of a report scheduled for this weekend about the consequences of the mass deportations carried out by the Donald Trump administration. This episode comes amid major media acquisitions in the United States under Trump, who is close to the owners of CBS's parent company. The investigative program '60 Minutes' was scheduled to air a long episode on Sunday, featuring testimonies from Venezuelans whom US authorities deported in March not to their home country, but to a large maximum-security prison in El Salvador.
